These botanical illustrations are from Curtis’s Botanical Magazine v. 23-24 and 25-26 (1806 and 1807). They are available to download on the Biodiversity Heritage Library website. This is a great resource for beautiful images. I have enjoyed so much going through these images and making groupings for gallery walls. You will find many sets if you look through my blog.
These images have been color corrected and formatted in Powerpoint to be printed for a 8″ x 10″, 11″ x 14″, 16″ x 20″, or 18″ x 24″ frame. I’ve also included the color-corrected jpeg files in case you’d like to do something else with them. Powerpoint files can be printed at your local copy center or online at sites like Vistaprint. The 8″ x 10″ images can be printed on letter size paper. These cost about $.25 each at our local copy center. The 11″ x 14″ should be printed on ledger size paper and costs about $1.00. The 16″ x 20″ and 18″ x 24″ will need to be printed as an 18″ x 24″ poster, which is more expensive. Our local copy center can print an 18″ x 24″ poster for $12.99. If you are unsure how to print these, you can ask me questions in the comment, or call your local copy center and tell them you have powerpoint files. They should be able to help you.
