Coral Dresser
The one thing I wanted to do when I started painting furniture was to paint a dresser coral. I had pinned many coral dressers that I just thought were beautiful. So the first dresser I got, I painted coral:). I did have some glitches along the way. The color is Sherwin Williams Charisma. I like to use their Proclassic, and was not very interested in using anything else. On a desk I was painting prior to this, I tried spraying their All Surface Enamel. It was a mess. It didn’t spray well at all. It remained tacky for two weeks after painting. The coral paint that I wanted so badly did not come in Proclassic, so I went with their Duration paint. To rectify that situation I finished the piece with Minwax Paste Wax. I’m still learning so much. This was my first experience waxing:). I think I have a long way to go, but I’m open to it. So, I was happy with the final product. I still love the color:). This little lady is still waiting for a home. It doesn’t help that we’ve had frigid temperatures for weeks here in Toledo. Brrrr….
